Maintenance Made Easy with HO-Matic Replacement Sleeves

Replacing a sleeve shouldn’t be complicated. HO-Matic pinch valves are designed so you can quickly and cost-effectively replace the sleeve — the only wear part.
Sleeve Replacement (0:20)
No Special Tools Required
In almost all series (except Series 50), standard tools are all you need for a sleeve change.

Minimal Downtime
The sleeve can often be replaced directly in the installed position without removing the entire valve from the line.

The Rubber Sleeve – Our Know-How

Available colors: Black & pale
Additional grades available upon request
HO-Matic sleeves are made from specially developed elastomer compounds with high-strength fabric reinforcements. This ensures the high demands for robustness, elasticity, restoring force, and long service life are fully met.The highly elastic, pneumatically actuated sleeve reliably closes the product flow with only 2–3 bar differential pressure (depending on the elastomer quality). Thanks to its excellent resilience, it automatically returns to its fully open position as soon as the control pressure is released.
NR – Natural Rubber (FDA, ATEX)
The best choice for bulk solids. Excellent elasticity, very good mechanical properties, outstanding service life, highly abrasion-resistant, and strong restoring force after deformation.
Material Grades
  • NR (Standard): Black. Up to max. +80°C / available up to +90°C upon request
  • NR-L: Black, food-grade (FDA), up to max. +80°C
  • NR-LH: Natural rubber, food-grade, light-colored, up to max. +70°C
  • NR-LE: Black, electrically conductive for use in ATEX zones
Resistant to:
Mildly aggressive chemicals / Organic acids / Alcohols, salts
NBR – Nitrile Rubber (FDA, ATEX)
Essential for fuels, oils, and greases. Offers excellent resistance to mechanical and weather-induced wear, along with superior oil and fuel resistance.
Material Grades
  • NBR (Standard): Black. For fuels, oils, oil-lubricated compressed air
  • NBR-LH: Light/White, food-grade (FDA). For fatty food products, up to max. +80°C
  • NBR-LE: Electrically conductive for ATEX, up to max. +80°C
Resistant to:
fats, oils, gasoline / Solvents / Most common hydrocarbons
EPDM – Ethylene Propylene (FDA, ATEX)
The industry standard for hygiene and chemicals. Excellent heat resistance and high resistance to acids, alkalis, and hot water. Ideal for CIP/SIP cleaning processes. Features outstanding weather resistance and superior electrical insulation properties.
Material Grades
  • EPDM-L: Black, food-grade (FDA) and conductive (ATEX). Heat resistant up to +120°C / QSV +80°C
  • EPDM-LH: Light-colored, up to max. +100°C / QSV +80°C
  • EPDM-LE: Black, food-grade, electrically conductive, up to +120°C / QSV +80°C
Resistant to:
Ozone and weathering (UV) / Steam, hot water / Aggressive chemicals
FPM – Fluoroelastomer
The specialist for chemical-resistant applications. Engineered for highly aggressive chemicals, aromatic solvents, and high temperatures where standard elastomers would swell. Features exceptionally low gas permeability.
Material Grades
  • FPM: Fluoroelastomer, up to max. +100°C / QSV +80°C
Resistant to:
High heat resistance / Hydrocarbons / Many acids, animal and vegetable oils
CR – Chloroprene Rubber
Specifically renowned for its outstanding ozone resistance. Also offers excellent resistance to weathering and aging. Flame retardant and frequently used in outdoor installations. Features low air permeability and robust chemical resistance.
Material Grades
  • CR: Chloroprene rubber, up to max. +80°C
Resistant to:
Mild acids and chemicals / Ozone / Oils, greases
CSM – Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene
Specifically engineered for chemicals and oxidizing media. Offers good resistance to aging, weathering, and ozone, alongside low air permeability.
Material Grades
  • CSM: Chlorosulfonated polyethylene, up to max. +80°C
Resistant to:
Concentrated acids, alkalis / Ozone / Alcohols, alkalines, and hypochlorite solutions

OUR EXPERTISE

Replacement Sleeves & Elastomers – The Heart of Your Valve

The elastomer sleeve is the central component of every pinch valve. That’s why HO-Matic pays special attention to this part.

The performance of a pinch valve stands or falls with the quality of the sleeve. HO-Matic manufactures sleeves from specially developed elastomer compounds with high-strength fabric reinforcements. The result: maximum restoring force, extreme abrasion resistance, and long service life — even at the highest cycle rates.

Since 1977, the development of our hose sleeves has been a continuous process of improvement. Through regular testing and trials, we are constantly striving to make the “impossible” possible.
